High-Potential Leadership Programs
High-Potential Leadership Programs have become an integral part of retaining top talent and driving bottom-line business results. Within any leadership curriculum, communication skills are identified as one of the most critical skills for a leader. We have been involved in all levels of leadership training from designing a communication workshop and coaching tool to fit within an existing program to coaching specific skills for individuals in high-potential roles.
SW&A components include:
Final Presentation Support: Many leadership programs revolve around a business simulation for participants. One component of the project is often to develop and deliver final recommendations in a presentation. We have supported these programs with presentation training and coaching to help these teams structure their message and rehearse their delivery.
Skills Workshops: Some programs are designed as a series of training seminars around key leadership skills. We work with companies to design the communication component that will help their high-potential leaders learn the fundamentals of developing and delivering effective messages. The workshop setting allows us to tailor exercises that are relevant to the participants. In the past, topics have included: Effective Presentations, Executive Presence and Leading Executive Conversations.
Assessment & Coaching: Leadership programs may also include an assessment tool that identifies individual strengths and weaknesses. When communication is identified as an area of development, we tailor an individual coaching plan for a high-potential candidate to improve his/her skills and work through the issues identified.
